I'm a graduate of the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Music in classical vocal performance. With a vast knowledge of and passion for the Arts, I am interested in pursuing a career in corporate communications, journalism or arts management. I am fluently bilingual (English and French), a solid communicator, an excellent team player and have superb organizational skills.
Currently working in the field of communications, I thrive on connecting with communities and enjoy networking and engaging with the public. I believe effective communication is the cornerstone of successful interaction, collaboration and teamwork. It is not simply about expressing ideas clearly and concisely but also about actively listening and understanding. Moreover, with the evolving complexity of society, the ability to adapt communication styles is essential to ensure that messages are received and understood in a way that resonates with diverse audiences. This involves developing proficiency in verbal and written channels, as well as, on digital platforms in order to express ideas in today's multifaceted communication context.
It is vital for anyone working in the area of communications and journalism to have passion and drive for their work, to have celebrated successes but also faced challenges and to have an understanding of the importance of disseminating information that is fundamental to building trust and credibility. I am committed to working diligently alongside individuals and organizations as they pursue their visions and aspirations. My background consists of a variety of education, experience and training ranging from academic to artistic and athletic. With that wide scope of involvement, I am able to creatively express and narrate stories, texts and lived experiences. In an increasingly interconnected world, effective communication is integral for a society that values thoughtful and accurate information.

I also had the opportunity during the pandemic to visit the recording studio to sing backing vocals on the album, Tell Me What I'm Living For (Townes). What a fabulous experience it was!
